DESCRIPTION:The International Blues Challenge (IBC) represents the worldwide search for those Blues Bands and Solo/Duo Blues Acts ready to perform on the international stage\, yet just needing that extra big break. The IBC is held annually in late January in Memphis\, TN along historic Beale Street. There is also a Youth Showcase. \n\n\n\nAs an affiliate of The Blues Foundation\, CRBN has the right to send a band\, a solo/duo act and a youth act to represent our organization at the IBC. Each year we stage live regional preliminary IBC competitions to determine which acts will represent us at the Challenge in Memphis. \nThe IBC is judged by blues professionals from across the world who have years of experience in listening to\, producing\, and creating blues music. The Blues Foundation has established a set of criteria by which all competing musicians are evaluated throughout the five days of the IBC. \nLearn More About The International Blues Challenge
