Monday Night Blues Showcase..no cover!
Scotty Mac and the Rockin’ Bonnevilles earned a reputation as one of New York’s premier Blues/Roots Acts from the late 90s into the new millennium with their high energy performances and edgy stage banter. The band hangs it hat on the hook of American music styles from the 50′s and 60′s with a foundation built on jump blues, swing and early rock’n'roll. On stage, Scotty Mac and the Rockin’ Bonnevilles play with rawness and precision, with tightness and abandon. This magnificent combo is led by the brilliant guitarist Scotty Mac and vocalist/harmonica master Ted Hennessy. The veteran rhythm section of drummer Pete Vumbacco and bassist John Ellis can groove, shuffle, boogie swing and they know how to rock. Hennessy and Mac are perfect foils for each other, both instrumentally and as front men.
